Oona Shambhavi D’mello is the CEO of Conscious Development, a Human Development Organization for Business & Community Impact. She has a Masters in Positive Organizational Development from Case Western Reserve University. She has been recognized by the Beta Gamma Sigma, a global academic Honor Society which speaks to the “best in business and delivers value for life”.
At Conscious Development, Oona is also the Lead for Organizational Development, with a focus in Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry. She is certified in Coaching with Compassion, Emotional Intelligence, Appreciative Inquiry and Executive Coaching from the Weatherhead School of Management. Oona has a double bachelor’s in Psychology, Sociology and Fine Art from Mumbai University (India) and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (USA).
Oona has a passion for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. She has a special focus on women at the workplace, safety and wellbeing of the girl child and coaching of millennial women in rising to their potential. She applies intergenerational coaching to build internally stronger cultures within individuals and systems. She is called upon for her work in the use of language as a pathway to change and transformation.
She established Art for Self-Reliance in 2004, with a focus on working with girls rescued from human trafficking. Art for Self-Reliance is now a USA based, 501(c3) and continues to design creative solutions and programs for communities using art as a tool for healing and inner work.
Oona is also a represented visual artist and is managed by Kalpa Fine Arts, NYC, USA. Her passion to create is a path for her own self-discovery, expression and a carefully curated avenue that promotes that ‘art can heal’, firsthand.
